Stephen Harding (b.1976) is a representational painter based in Watertown, MA. Originally from Texas, he studied at the Art Students League and National Academy of Design in New York. He works from life, painting in a direct, or alla prima,manner. His focus is predominantly on the craft of painting—searching for ways to create luminosity, atmosphere, and pictorial harmony.
